Doris Gull was born on September 5, 1931 to Sylvester and Lydia Kilpack at home in Murray, Utah.
The family later moved to Centerville, Utah. She graduated from Davis High School.
Doris married Rulon Gull on September 7, 1951, and that marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple.
Doris was a very talented seamstress, for many years she made all of her children’s clothing. Doris enjoyed bowling in several leagues, dancing with the love of her life, Rulon, and many trips to Jackpot. Doris was a very good cook and baker.
Doris is preceded in death by her parents Sylvester and Lydia Kilpack, her loving husband Rulon Gull, son Bryan Gull and sister Merle Parrish.
Doris is survived by her daughters Karen Marshall of Chubbuck, Idaho; Debbie Gull of Pocatello, Idaho; Cathie Symonette, Pocatello, Idaho; sons Brent (Carole) Gull, Pocatello, Idaho; Bruce Gull, Pocatello, Idaho; Roger (Diana) Gull, Pocatello, Idaho; brothers John Kilpack, Hurricane, Utah; Lloyd ( Melanie) Kilpack, Bountiful, Utah; nine grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
A gathering will take place on Friday, September 9 at 10:30 a.m. at Wilks Funeral Home located at 211 West Chubbuck Road, Chubbuck ID 83201. Interment will follow at 12:00 p.m. at Mountain View Cemetery located at 1502 South 5th Avenue, Pocatello ID 83205.
The family of Doris would like to thank Angela Gull and Adriene Goff for all of the care given to Doris; Jarrod Brownsberger for all of the fun physical therapy and dancing; and Heritage Hospice for all of their help especially Marian, Brandi, Michael and Paige.
