Donna Moser, 75, passed away at her home on Thursday, March 13, 2014 surrounded by her family. She was under the care of Access Hospice of Eastern Idaho.
She was born on May 20, 1938 in Salinas, California to John and Eleanor Soberanes Sr. She grew up and attended school in Salinas, California. She graduated Salinas High School in 1957. She attended Hartnell College earning her credentials to become a teacher's aide. She worked at Santa Rita Elementary and La Jolla Elementary Schools for 10 years. She played on the women's softball league for 5 years and belonged to the Natividad 4H Club.
On May 23, 1959, she married the love of her life, Michael R. Moser Sr. They raised three children; Christopher J. Moser, Michael R. Moser Jr., and Elizabeth A. Sumter all of whom reside in Pocatello, Idaho.
Donna was an avid hunter and fisherwoman. She loved spending time camping with her family. She had many hobbies. She played in the horseshoe league for McDermotts and the Blue Healer for 9 years.
Donna is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Michael R. Moser Sr., her parents, John and Eleanor Soberanes Sr.
She is survived by; her three children, three grandchildren, Erin Giles, Kyle Moser and Michael R. Moser III, all of Pocatello, Idaho, her twin sister, Dora Guidotti, her sister, Charlotte Paes, both of Pocatello, her brother, John Soberanes Jr. of Santa Maria, California, her son-in-law, Baron E. Sumter Jr. of Royal Oaks, California, her son, Michael's fiancé, Kimberly Byington of Pocatello, and her little dog, Chico. She has several nieces and nephews in California, Idaho and Texas.
Funeral Services for family and friends will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at Wilks Funeral Home, 211 W. Chubbuck Rd., Chubbuck, Id. A Private Family Viewing will also be held at Wilks Funeral Home prior to services. Flowers can be sent to the funeral home or donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or Access Home Health and Hospice.
