Donna Alberta Taylor

Donna returned to her Heavenly Father October 12, 2023. Donna was born in Pocatello, Idaho, on May 4, 1939, to Donald and Dorothy Rupp. She was married to Jay N. Taylor and together they had 4 children 3 boys and 1 girl: Lynn, Richard, Ranee and Russell.

Donna was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Donna had many hobbies and Interests which included singing, hunting, fishing, golfing, card playing, and bingo.

Donna held many positions throughout her life. She was a Telegraph Operator for the Pocatello Railroad, a Key Operator for Bucyrus Erie and a manager for numerous convenience stores. At the local Westwood Discount Store she was known as the Buy 3 get 1 free lady. Later in life she began singing with the Silver Chords. She was also involved with the local Senior Center and was an advocate for raising funds for their activities and games for which she won many awards.

What Donna loved most of all was spending time singing with family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her children: Lynn (Karolyn), Richard (Susan), Ranee (Curtis Kell), Russell (Melissa), her sister Nancy (Larry) Lish and sister-in-law, Karen Rupp. 14 Grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents and sister Dorothy Jean, brother Donald Rupp Jr. brother In-Law Robert Wayne Astin, son In-Law Curtis Kell, and great grandson Andrew James Lepinski Jr.

Viewings will be held Friday, October 20, 2023 6:00-8:00 PM. and Saturday, October 21,2023 11:00 AM at Wilks Funeral Home 211 West Chubbuck Road Chubbuck, Idaho 83202.
