Donata Branson

Donata Hickman Branson, 69, passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2022.  

Donata was born May 2, 1953 in Pocatello, Idaho to Jean and Elmer Hickman. Donata enjoyed residing in the Pocatello area because of the beautiful nature areas she enjoyed visiting.

She graduated from Pocatello High School. On September 2, 1981 Donata married Kelly S. Branson in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Donata enjoyed many enriching hobbies, including woodworking, bowling, fishing and plastic canvas art.

Donata worked for K & B Quick Stop for 17 years before retiring.

The family is grateful for Heritage Healthcare for their kindness and compassion, as well as the medical staff at Portneuf Medical Center.

Donata is survived by her siblings Sandra Jean Hickman of Boise, ID; Jerry L. Hickman of Chubbuck, ID; Laura Hickman of Idaho Falls, ID; and Kevin Hickman of Roseberg, OR.

She is preceded in death by mother Thora “Jean” Hickman, father Elmer Hickman, Sr., her husband Kelly Branson, brother Elmer Hickman, Jr., and sister Mary Simmons.

A graveside service will be held under the direction of Wilks Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday October, 19, 2022 at the Mountain View Cemetery in Pocatello, Idaho
