Donald Robert Barker

Donald Robert Barker, 88, passed away a local hospital on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 in Pocatello, Idaho. He was born on December 30, 1932 in Salem, WV to Max and Myrtle Eloise (Stewart) Barker. Don was raised in the West Virginia area, and joined the Army after graduating from high school. After serving in the U.S. Army in Korea, he joined the Air Force. Don married Irma Triguero, they were later divorced. He then married a young lady by the name of Alene Perry in 1977. Don retired from the U.S. Air Force. He owned and operated a handyman service. He was a Veteran of Foreign Wars. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, fishing, and Camping. Donald is survived by his wife Alene of Chubbuck, ID; sons, Donald R. Barker II of Oklahoma City, OK and Joseph A. (Karen D) Barker of Pocatello, Idaho; daughter, Debra J Barker of Sparks, NV; brother, Phil Barker of Dallas, Texas and sister, Suzanne Barker, and her boyfriend (Richard Sternola) of Boca Raton, FL; 5 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Max W Barker, Jr. At the request of Donald there will be no services held for the public.
