Donald R. Goff II, 48, passed away peacefully, Sunday, September 9, 2018, following a valiant struggle with diabetes.
Don was born January 6, 1970 in Gaylord, Michigan to Donald Richard and Elizabeth Marie (Welsh) Goff. The family moved to Cupertino, California when he was seven years old. He attended and graduated from Cupertino High School.
Don moved to Pocatello, Idaho in 1990. He attended Idaho State University where he received an Associate's Degree in Electrical and History. He worked at Camas International and General Mills until his health forced him to focus on his medical care.
Don divorced the mother of his three children after 13 years of marriage.
Don followed and loved sports. His favorite teams were the Steelers, Yankees, Sharks and Kings. He enjoyed playing video games, doing mechanical work on cars, all things electrical, especially computers, playing sports, and watching movies and television. His greatest joy was his children! He was a Christian.
Don is survived by his children, Donald R. (Shaylee) Goff III, Chubbuck, ID; Megan F. Goff, Chubbuck, ID; Brandin M. Goff, Pocatello, ID; and his sisters, Donna (Richard) Jungenberg, Chubbuck, ID; Deborah (Michael) Eppler, Valley Springs, CA; and Cindy (Paul) Jalbert, Cross Lake, ME. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elizabeth and Donald Goff.
His family wishes to extend a special "Thank You" to Andrew Baird for helping him through dialysis by making it more bearable through his comradery.
A graveside service will be held in Don's honor at 2:00 P.M., today, Friday, September 14, 2018 at the Inkom Cemetery, where he will be placed next to his parents.
