Donald Lee Siefers

Donald Lee Siefers was born May 17, 1929, in Lafayette, Indiana, to Homer and Elma Brockway Siefers. After graduating high school, Don moved to Washington, D.C. and began work as a clerk for the FBI in 1947. He completed his Master's Degree and became an FBI Special Agent following training at the Academy in Quantico, Virginia, on May 24, 1954.

Don married the love of his life, Phyllis Jane Thoennes, on June 11, 1949. They were blessed with five children.

After a distinguished career of 30 years and many letters of commendation, he retired from the San Diego, California office and returned to Colorado and spent a portion of their retirement years in Fruita. They eventually moved to Pocatello where they have enjoyed a quiet life with their youngest daughter and her family nearby.

Donald is survived by his wife, Phyllis, of 66 years, their children Debbie Campbell, Daniel (Lori), Dennis (Cindy), Duane (Gwen) and Dawn Fitzpatrick (John); their grandchildren, Paul Momita (Linda), Aaron, Jesica Holstein (Jon), Stacy Momita, Keely Hundley (Justin), Steven and Connor Fitzpatrick; and their great-grandchildren, Flynn Hundley and Jack Holstein.

The foundation awards scholarships to the children and grandchildren of Society members and to the children of FBI National Academy Associate members.

Memorial services for Donald will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at Wilks Funeral Home 211 W. Chubbuck Rd. in Chubbuck, Idaho.
