Don B. Olson

Donald "Don" B. Olson, 68, passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2016, quietly at his home. He was born on December 15, 1947 in Blackfoot, ID to Darwin B. Olson and Lela Going Olson. Don graduated from Blackfoot High School and was then drafted into the U.S. Army. Later, he went into construction and was a well know roofer in Pocatello and at the INEL. He loved camping and riding his ATV in Mackay, ID. His ashes will be scattered at Lone Pine on the Mackay Mine hill this spring. Don is survived by his wife of 24 years, Jackie Olson; stepchildren, Randy Boulter and Toni Turner; grandchildren, Michael and Tyler Turner; and his mother, Lela Rodgers. He is preceded in death by his father; sisters, Diane Justicson, and Patricia Parris. As per Dons wishes, there will be no services held. Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. 4 th Ave. Pocatello, ID, is caring for Dons family.
