Dominga Flores passed away peacefully at home on March 29, 2017 surrounded by family.
Dominga Flores was born on August 4th, 1928 in Del Rio Texas to Adrian and Aurelia Morales. She grew up in a large family and spent her childhood in Del Rio. There she met the love of her life Candelario Flores. Together they raised 10 children while moving from state to state for immigrant work. Eventually they settled in Chubbuck, Idaho.
Dominga's life was dedicated to caring for her children. They all stayed close as they raised families of their own. She was a member of First Assembly of God where she dedicated her life to the Lord.
The family would like to thank Heritage Home Health and Hospice, JoAnn Fletcher, Sandy Calcaterra, Dr. Mills, Maria Rosi Ramirez and to everyone who donated through this time.
Dominga is survived by her daughters Mary (Jimmy) Garza, Blanche (Jamie) Gonzales, Romie (Trina) Flores, and Lisa (Tyrone) Chacon; sons Eddy (Angie) Flores, David (Juanita) Flores, and Candelario Jr (Janae) Flores; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Dominga was preceded in death by her husband Candelario Flores; sons Gilbert Flores, George Flores and Baldemar Flores; granddaughter Crystal Flores; and grandson Darrell Garza Sr.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 3, 2017 at Wilks Funeral Home 211 W. Chubbuck Road. A viewing will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at Wilks Funeral Home and one hour prior to services on Monday. Interment will follow in the Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
