Dixie Larkin

Dixie Kae Hardman-Larkin, 77, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family on Thursday, May 16, 2019.

Dixie was born March 4, 1942, in Logan, Utah. She spent her summers in Arbon Valley, Idaho harvesting wheat on their family farm. Her winter months were spent in Pocatello, Idaho where she attended Pocatello High School. She danced with the Indainettes which began a dance hobby of more than fifteen years. During this time she danced with Mary Casis, danced in various pageants and later taught classes of her own.

Dixie married Michael Eugene Larkin January of 1963. They bought a beautiful house on Balsam Lane in Pocatello, Idaho. They had two strong boys, Randy Michael Larkin and Ricky Ray Larkin.

Dixie pursued a career in cosmetology and worked out of her home. She was well known for her amazing work and personal beauty. Dixie and Michael then expanded their dreams by moving to a ten-acre lot. This space will forever give her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren the best memories of their lives.

She is survived by; her sons, Randy Michael Larkin and Rickey Ray Larkin; grandchildren, Chasity Lynn Snowden, Chelcee Lee Hargraves, Charrity Kae Larkin, Taysia-Ben Anderson, Austynne Paige Larkin, Colton Ray Larkin, Chance Michael Larkin, Coulter Hill; great-grandchildren, Jared Makalum Lee Short, Alexis Marie Snowden, Kimberly Kellie Snowden, Haley Rae Snowden, William Charles Snowden, Talisyn Kingston Michael Snowden,Mathaeous McKae Larkin and Titian Aslynn James Snowden.

Funeral services for Dixie will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at Wilks Funeral Home 211 W. Chubbuck Road. A viewing will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at Wilks and one hour prior to services on Wednesday. Interment will follow in the Mountain View Cemetery.
