Dianne Ottogary, 54, passed away May 4, 2017 in Murray, Utah. She was born in Pocatello to Clyde Ottogary and Cecilia Moon. Bannock Creek was home for Dianne her entire life. She attended school in American Falls (1 st - 8 th grade), Stewart Indian High school in Nevada and ISU Vo-Tech; receiving a certificate in Early Childhood Development. Dianne worked for 20+ years for the Shoshone Bannock Tribes Head Start program. She loved teaching the children through her fun and creative ways. She was baptized into the LDS church but was mostly traditional in the Native American church and was co-Sundance leader with her father, Clyde Ottogary and her uncle, Laine Thom. Dianne loved to participate in the Sundance; singing and praying for people. She enjoyed being in the mountains. Dianne also enjoyed sewing, quilting, bead work and was a doll artist creating dolls known as Ottogary Dolls. She loved spending time with her family and took special pride in her grandchildren, Cordell Whatomy and Klydesdale Broncho. She is survived by her children, William Ottogary, Bannock Creek, ID, Shanea Deppe, Bannock Creek, ID, Thunder Tendoy, American Falls, ID, Twinkle Tendoy, Bannock Creek, ID; grandchildren, Cordell Whatomy, Fort Hall, ID, Klydesdale Broncho, Bannock Creek, ID, Hali Butler, Bannock Creek, ID, Nick Butler, Bannock Creek, ID; brother, Benjamin Ottogary, Bannock Creek, ID; and numerous cousins, and extended families. Dianne was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Kelton Ottogary; paternal grandparents, Chester Ottogary and Vida Eagle; maternal grandparents, Mariom Eagle and Danny Moon. There will be a Tee pee viewing on Monday, May 8, 2017 at 10 am at her home in Bannock Creek until Wednesday, May 10, 2017 where she will be buried in the Bannock Creek Cemetery at 2 pm. There will also be sunrise services on Wednesday, May 10, 2017.
