Diana Ruth Sherman

Diana Ruth Sherman, 66, passed away peacefully in her home on Wednesday, October 6, 2021. Diana was born on July 25, 1955, in Los Angeles, CA to Samuel Wanamaker and Elanor Colman.

She is survived by her sisters, Anne Gish, Katherin Hill, Susan Limber and Stephanie Shultz; her brothers, John Wanamaker and Chris Wanamaker.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Samuel Wanamaker and Elanor Colman; husband, Randall Sherman; and sister, Margaret Wanamaker.

At the time of her death, Diana had been in a meaningful and loving relationship for 18 years with Jeffrey Allmond and passed away in hospice care at the home they both shared.

Diana first moved to Pocatello, ID in 1969 with her family and graduated from Pocatello High School. She married Randall Sherman in 1976. Diana spent several years living in Germany while he was stationed there serving in the US Army. He passed away in 1993. She later earned a bachelor’s degree in English from Idaho State University. She was an avid reader and believed that learning was a lifelong endeavor.
