Dexter "Deck" Troy Sluder

Deck was born and lived in the Pocatello area for 97 years, with the exception of serving in the US Navy during WWII. He Married Evelyn Blodgett in 1940, they had three children: Keith, Stan and Patty. Evelyn passed away on Christmas Day in 1997.

He is survived by: Stan Sluder; four grandchildren, Rick Sluder, Mike Sluder, Shane Sluder and Shauri Palesch; and four great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at the Mountain View Cemetery in Pocatello, Idaho. Military rites will be provided by the Pocatello Veterans Honor Guard. If you would like, please make a donation to your favorite charity in his name.
