Dennis Lloyd Poe

Dennis Lloyd Poe was born in Nampa, Idaho on January 20, 1952 to Lloyd and Gladys Poe.

He graduated from Nampa High in 1970 and from Boise State in 72. From there he followed in his fathers footsteps and took a job for the Union Pacific. While working for the UP in Oregon he met Willoma Hillman who he would later marry and have three boys; Russ, Brian, and Eric. They moved to North Platte, Nebraska where he would live until 1997 before moving to Pocatello.

Although things did not work out with Willoma, that situation opened the door for him to meet the love of his life, Katie Hollenbeck as well as her children Nicole and Ryan. He passed away peacefully on November 17th after fighting multiple illnesses.

He is survived by his wife Katie; sister Linda and her family, children Russ, Brian, Eric, Ryan, Nicole, Pam and Sonia. Along with their spouses; Laura, Lindsey, Colleen, Ross, Jim and Maria; as well as numerous grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Loyal Order of Moose at 1315 E 4th Street, North Platte, NE 69101.
