Dennis Buzzell

Dennis Allen Buzzell, 51, passed away Thursday, May 10, 2012, with his family by his side. His absence leaves an irreplaceable hole in the hearts of all who love and miss him. He was born August 2, 1960 in Sacrament, CA, to Dennis and Shirley Buzzell. He served his country with the Army and Air Force and was stationed in Panama. His family moved to Salt Lake City, UT, where he met his first wife Elizabeth Anderson. They were married in the LDS Temple. They had two daughters together, Kristina and Crystal. They later divorced. He helped start and run State Fire and it is still going strong. He managed at Village Inn where his family spent a lot of time. He moved to Lava Hot Springs, ID, where he met his current wife Lyn, and they were married August 14, 2004. They purchased Johnny's Restaurant that they successfully managed for 5 and a half years. Dennis was an avid fisherman, loved camping with his family, and loved BBQ's. He enjoyed building model airplanes and cars, he loved the ocean, he enjoyed sitting at Johnny's having coffee with his Dad, Buzz, and scratching lottery tickets. He loved watching westerns and Mash and he cherished his dog Amaya. He will be missed by all. He was very family oriented and he had a close relationship with his Dad, Buzz, and sister, Julie. He was close to all his family and he so cherished his wife. He was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and grandpa. He was so proud to become a grandpa. He was very sociable, generous, kind, and was loved by all who met him. He was very protective of his family and acted as the peace keeper and was the glue that kept the family together. "When you think of me, think of me with smiles, as I think of you I'll be smiling." He is survived by his wife, Lyn Buzzell; mother, Shirley Souders; daughters, Kristina Larrisa Buzzell and Crystal Sheree Galicia; stepson, Blake (Autumn) Purdum; stepson, Cody (Britani) Purdum; sister, Julie (Mark) Patterson; niece, Cori (Whalan) Rife; 13 grandchildren, Jordan, Alondra, Breah, Kaeler, Brendyn, Ayden, Hailee, Caysin, McKinzie, Siris, Justice, Brysin, and Deegan; two more nieces, Ausha an dItalia. He was preceded in death by his father, Dennis R. Buzzell; and grandparents, Glen and Velma Buzzell. There will be no formal services as per Dennis' request.
