Deloy Lommon

Deloy Edward Lemmon, 84, formerly of Rupert, Idaho, passed away at the home of his daughter on December 4, 2009 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born September 5, 1925 in Rigby, Idaho. His mother was Alta Lemmon Leavitt and his father was Joseph Butler. He was never able to know his biological father, but dearly loved his stepfather, Jess Leavitt. He was reared and educated in Rigby. Deloy was blessed with great musical talent, at the age of 12 he played as drum major for the high school. He also played the trumpet in his high school and later played trumpet for the Sea Bees while serving in the Navy. He grew up with many aunts and uncles and worked on his Grandpa Lemmon
