Delores Ann Barrus Grandma Love

Born December 18, 1938 in Pocatello, Idaho to Ferdinand Jacob and Doris Adeline (Chesmore) Huber, went to be with Jesus on March 21, 2017.

Delores was the seventh of fifteen children. She was raised in American Falls, Idaho and graduated from American Falls High School. Delores married Paul Barrus November 23, 1975. For the last 50+ years she lived and worked in Pocatello. Delores was employed at Parrish's for many years and she was treated like family. After retiring Dee spent time behind the wheel of her blue pickup truck, picking up cardboard and aluminum. She had a love for reading the Bible, going to church and writing and receiving letters. During the summer Delores loved to fish and camp with her husband and Paul Andrew. She made many friends along the way and always had some wisdom to share. Delores loved God, her family, church family, friends and neighbors.

Delores is survived by Alan (Sherrie) Reich of Sandpoint, Mari Ann (John) Powers of Pocatello, Pamela (Roger) Carlton of Nampa, and Paul Andrew Christensen of Pocatello; fourteen grandchildren and thirty-four great grandchildren and one on the way. She is also survived by three sisters, MaryLou Clemens of McCammon, Audrey (Homer) Barker of Pocatello, Melody Lee of Pocatello; three brothers, Vernon Huber of Phoenix, David Huber of Pocatello, and Robert Huber of Twin Falls; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Paul, two sisters and six brothers.

As per Delores' wishes, she will be cremated and her ashes scattered at her favorite fishing hole by family this summer. A memorial service will be held at 3:00pm on Monday, March 27, 2017 at Wilks Funeral Home, 211 W. Chubbuck Road.
