Delferd Layton Study

Delferd Layton Study, 68, passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at a care center in Pocatello, ID. Delferd was born on April 21, 1948 in Bannock Creek, Idaho. He attended American Falls High School. Delferd spent his life farming. He belonged to the Native American Church. He never married nor had any children. Delferd traveled through Native country as a Drummer/Singer on the Pow Wow Circuit. He enjoyed the outdoors; hunting and working on cars and trucks. He is survived by his first cousins, Merlin Study, Roslyn Study, and Wayne Study. He is also survived by Lynda Arquette (daughter of Sharon Study); Rick D. (son of Lesley Study); Ron Study (son of Merlin Study); Summer Small (daughter of Roxanne Study); Leah, Holly, and Heather Neaman (children of Barbara Study Neaman). He was preceded in death by his father, Herman Study; mother, Bessie Study; sister, Irene Study; brother, Eldon Study; uncles, Lawrence Study, Caldwell Study, Charlie Study, Ralph Study; Nephew; grandfather, Fred Stone Study; and grandmother, Maude West Study. Visitation was held on Thursday, August 11, 2016 from 6-7 pm at Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. 4 th Ave. Pocatello, ID as well as on Friday, August 12, 2016 from 12:30-1:15 pm. Graveside services followed starting at 2 pm on Friday at the Bannock Creek Cemetery. The family wishes to say thank you for all of your kindness and your help and prayers in their time of need.
