Delena Alicia Soltero, 38, passed away on February 21, 2023.
Delena was born in Pocatello, Idaho on June 16, 1984. She knew she wanted to be a nurse from an early age. She attended Lincoln Elementary School, Irving Jr. High School, Pocatello High School, and Idaho State University, graduating with honors from all. She will rest in peace in Pocatello.
Delena was engaged to Marcos Gallegos. She enjoyed coloring books and playing with her children and granddaughter. She loved to be outdoors with her family, and had open arms to welcome anyone into her family. She was a strong, smart woman with a laugh that was so contagious. She will be deeply missed by many.
Delena is survived by her daughter, Angelina Duran of Pocatello, Idaho; sons, Jance Soltero of Pocatello, and Dion Juarez of Rupert; sister, Angel Soltero of New York; brothers, Manuel Soltero of Pocatello, Juan C. Soltero of Pocatello, Pablo Soltero of Oklahoma; son-in-law, Ethan Tendore of Pocatello; granddaughter, Zayonna Tendore of Pocatello; mother, Delia Soltero of Pocatello; father, Juan Soltero of Mexico; grandmother, Alice Patten of Pocatello; fiancé, Marcos Gallegos of Pueblo, and one grandchild.
She is preceded in death by Vicente Obregon, Thorvan Patten, Manuel Rosales, Johnny Rosales and Patsy Stone.
The family would like extend a special thank you to all family and friends who contributed to Delena’s service costs.
