Delbert Francis Gomez

Delbert Francis Gomez, 56, passed away January 15, 2021, at his home of natural causes. He was born son of Irineo Gomez and Myrna Kutch on August 30, 1964 in Pocatello, Idaho. Delbert married Donna Fuger, February 18, 2007 in Pocatello, Idaho. He was employed at Knife River Construction Company as a heavy equipment operator, he also drove truck for Trans Systems. He was a member of Phi Sigma Kappa while attending Idaho State University. Delbert was a member of the Episcopal Church. In his spare time, he loved hunting, fishing, cars and especially spending time with his grandchildren. Delbert is survived by his wife, Donna Gomez; children, Colton (Jessica) Gomez, Anthony (Katie) Merrick, Christopher Alvarado, and Bobbie Alvarado; mother, Myrna Cotton; father, Irineo Gomez; brothers, Michael (Taleen) Willard, and Matthew (Gloria) Willard; sisters, Dora (Juan) Manzo, and Christine Buckman; and brother, Patrick (Jennifer) Cotton; 5 grandchildren, Harper, Gabriel, Christian, Asher, and Emilyn; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by grandparents, Alfred Sam Kutch and Edna LaVatta Kutch. Sunrise service will be held on Monday, January 18, 2021 at Myrna's residence. He will be on Agency at Myrna's residence until Monday at 2 pm then head to Kutch/Parker Cemetery for burial.
