Debra Landvik

d. June 10, 2010

Debra Lynn Landvik, 52, passed away in her home surrounded by her loved ones on Thursday, June 10, 2010 after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer. Debra was born August 11, 1957 in Pocatello, Idaho to Virgil and Arlene (Warner) Barnard and was raised in Pocatello and American Falls. She graduated from American Falls High School in 1975 and shortly thereafter married Dan Landvik. Together they had three wonderful children; Ryan, Jilynn and Jessica. They later divorced, but were always a part of each other's lives. She was blessed with four adoring grandchildren whom she doted on. Her heart was always open and many knew her as Momma Debbie, including sweet Sami. Mom loved to fish and was known for finding the best fishing holes. She was always picking up rocks and over the years as a rock hound, she had an impressive rock collection. She was an avid horse rider in her younger days and cared for all animals. As a lover of the outdoors, she spent many hours hiking on trails and camping in her favorite spots. Momma Debbie's fondest memories are of camping on the Salmon River with family. Debra is survived by her parents; her siblings; Mike and Kevin Barnard and Marla (Barnard) Reeves; her loving children; Ryan Landvik, Jilynn Landvik and Companion Roger and Jessica (Eric) Kawamura; four grandchildren, Gavin, Ava, Isabella and Ian. She was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Jack Reeves and her nephew Ethan Reeves. Upon her request there will not be a formal funeral service, but a celebration of life on Saturday, June 26, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at 458 Garfield Avenue, American Falls, Idaho. We look forward to visiting with family and friends to celebrate her life. We will all miss you Debbie/Mother and we'll love you always! Colonial Funeral Home is caring for Debra's family.
