Debra Ann Anderson (Debbie), 58, passed away on Friday, December 18, 2015 in Pocatello Idaho. She was born November 25, 1957 in Soda Springs, Idaho. Her mother was NaReese Athay. She was second of five children and was raised and educated in Soda Springs. She moved after graduation to Pocatello where she met her husband Eddy Dean Anderson while working at Grand Central. They were married July 15, 1977 in Soda Springs and lived in Pocatello where they had four children, Shay, Dustin, Beau and Kortni (who passed away at birth). She had worked at the Arctic Circle in Soda Springs, at Grand Central in Pocatello and worked for Farmers Insurance for the last 38 years where she held many positions. She was working there when she passed away. Debbie enjoyed many things during her life. She was a runner-up for the Miss Caribou pageant. She was in drill team in high school and competed in many competitions. She was an avid sports fan for her children and grandchildren as they played football, baseball, softball, wrestling, drill team and clogging. She liked going camping and was very proficient at puzzles. Her biggest enjoyments in life were her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Dean of Pocatello; sister, Vickie (David) Murri, Lewiston, Idaho; brother, Todd (Kelly) Welker, Afton, Wyoming; children, Shay Anderson (her fianc David), Phoenix, Arizona, Dustin (Ami) Anderson, Pocatello and Beau (Kara) Anderson, Pocatello; 7 grandchildren, Kennon, Kortni, Ryken, Braylee, Aaliyah, David Jr and Nathaniel; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, a sister, Stacie, a brother, Randy Welker and her daughter, Kortni. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 from 5-7 pm at Colonial Funeral Home 2005 S. 4 th Ave. Pocatello, Idaho 83201, 208-233-1500. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at 11 am also at Colonial Funeral Home with a viewing for one hour prior to the services.
