Deanna Gentry, 77, passed away peacefully at a local care facility, Thursday, June 12, 2014. She was born on October 1, 1936 in Los Angeles, California to Vernie and Clarece Carmichael. She lived in Pasadena and grew up in San Marino, California. She then moved to Pocatello and had lived there for the past 4 years. Deanna obtained a degree and worked as a Drug and Alcohol Counselor for many years.
She was married to James Chad Gentry. They were married 29 years until her passing.
Deanna loved the beach. As a child, she loved going fishing with her Dad.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Vernie and Clarece Carmichael, daughter, Mardee Keller and a son, Bill Keller.
She is survived by: her husband, James Chad Gentry of Pocatello, Idaho, a son, Edward Keller of Redding, California, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Deanna's family would like to thank Monte Vista Hills Health Care Center and especially all of the nurses, doctors, cooks and everyone who helped care for Dee while she was living there.
