Willard "Dean" Larsen, of Inkom, Idaho, was born on April 18, 1941 in Pocatello, Idaho, to Raymond A and Wilma East Larsen. He passed away on November 1, 2013, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family and friends. Dean attended elementary school in McCammon until he was 12 Years old and then moved to Inkom. He then attended high school at Marsh Valley High School where he graduated in 1960. Dean worked for Art Lish and then in logging with family while he was attending high school. After graduation, he worked for the J. R. Simplot Co. where he later retired. Dean married Sonja Robinson in 1959 and they had 3 children, they later divorced. In 1980 he married Lois Jorgensen and she brought 2 children to the marriage. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints where he was a member of the Boy Scouts of America. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, and cutting wood. Dean is survived by his wife of 34 years, Lois Larsen; his children; Ann (Chris) Yount, Rick (Jan) Larsen, Jeff (Sandy) Larsen, Janis (David) Staley, Neil (Julie) Jorgenson; 20 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and his siblings, Lynn (Carol) Larsen, Neva (Art) Lish, Virginia Chambers, and Keith Bell. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Wilma Larsen; sister, Eve Bell; and brother, Eldon Larsen. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, November 9, 2013, at 1:00 P.M. at the Inkom LDS church located at 973 Rapid Creek Road. The family will receive family and friends at the church one hour before services. Burial of Dean will be held by the family at a later date.
