David Merrell

Peter "David" Merrell, 40, passed away January 30, 2020 at his home. He was born December 3, 1979 at the Hahn Air Force Base in Germany, son of Peter Marlow Chic and his mother, Vonda. He grew up in Utah and Alabama. David was married for 13 years to Stephanie Merrell and they have seven beautiful children; and two granddaughters. He has worked a lot of different jobs over the years but he loved his last job working at Lowes for the last year and a half. He enjoyed spending time outdoors with family and friends. He loved fishing, camping, hiking, and barbecues. David is survived by his wife, Stephanie; children, Kurtis Henderson, Steven Henderson, Abigail Anderson, Jacob Merrell, Peter Merrell II, Mysteri Merrell, Tyler Johnson; two granddaughters, Annalyssa Henderson, and Harlene Henderson; mother, Vonda White; siblings, Tim, Nate, and Becca; and numerous nieces and nephews. No services are scheduled at this time. A private family gathering may be held at a future date.
