David L. Stuart

David Stuart, 78, passed away from a recent illness. Dave was born May 14, 1936 to Lloyd and Edna Johnson Stuart. He attended Pocatello High. He served in the U.S. Army from 1959-1961, stationed in Korea.

Dave farmed, raised calves and was a heavy equipment operator for many years.

Dave met and married his loving wife Margo Ann Sorensen May 10, 1969, and had 45 marvelous years together. They had 4 wonderful children and 5 grandchildren who were the light of his life. Dave had a great sense of humor.

Dave is preceded in death by: his parents, Lloyd and Edna Stuart, sister-in-law, Sidney Knudsen and a brother-in-law, Bill Mahaffey.

Dave is survived by: his wife, Margo, sons; Bob, Brad (Shanda) Stuart, daughters; Donna (Brad) Dameron, and Lisa, grandchildren; Trevor and Qwinn Stuart, Easton, Ridge and Tripp Dameron, brother, Doug (Doris) Stuart, sisters; Kathy (Ken) Stevens and Carol (Richard) Scarborough, brother and sister-in-laws, Les (Mae) Sorensen, JoLynn Mahaffey, Steve Knudsen, Rod (Mary Sorensen and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 14, 2014 at the LDS Chapel located on Yellowstone Highway between Reservation and Ballard Roads. A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, June 13, 2014 at Wilks Funeral Home 211 W. Chubbuck Road and one hour prior to services on Saturday at the church. Interment will follow services at Mountain View Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Wilks Funeral Home, 211 W. Chubbuck Rd., Chubbuck, ID.
