Darlene Ann Bunker was born October 11, 1955 in Wallace, Idaho, the daughter of Floyd and Maxine Strand. She was raised in Osburn, Idaho graduating from Wallace High School in 1974. She moved to Pocatello and attended ISU where she graduated from the School of Cosmetology in 1978. She worked as a stylist for several years before obtaining her Instructors license. She taught at the School of Hairstyling many years before opening her own salon in McCammon. She missed teaching and the students so she went back to instruction until she retired in 2010. Darlene was a member of the LDS Church and served in various callings as well as completing a mission. Her hobbies included breeding and showing guinea pigs, scrap booking, stamping, tole painting, cooking and camping. She loved animals and always had a wide variety of pets to raise and nurture. She was married to Bill Cornwall for 23 years and they were later divorced. In 2007 she married Thomas Bunker. Darlene passed away on July 12, 2018 at their home in McCammon. She is survived by her husband, Thomas; his children, Tamara, Timothy, Christopher, Emilee and Robert; and her younger sister, Diane Simons. She will be missed by all those whose lives she touched. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 from 6-8 pm at Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. 4 th Ave. Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at 11 am at the LDS McCammon Stake Center, with a viewing for one hour prior. Interment will take place following the service at the Norton Cemetery in McCammon, ID.
