Darla Rae Corpus

POCATELLO-Darla Rae Corpus, 55, passed away peacefully Tuesday evening, October 26, 2010, at a local care facility.

Darla was born December 18, 1954, to Darrell Arnold and Beverly Henson in Pocatello, Idaho. She attended Highland High School, and Idaho State University, where she received her CNA Certificate. She worked most of her adult life as a care provider.

Darla married Jay Corpus on June 28, 1972. They were later divorced in 2001. Out of this union, they had one son, Jayson Corpus.

Darla was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

She enjoyed camping, fishing, and traveling. Darla also enjoyed family gatherings and having BBQs. Darla was known as the prankster of the family.

Darla is survived by a son; Jayson (Emilee) Corpus, parents; Austin and Beverly Henson all of Pocatello, brothers; James (Robin) Henson of Boise, Idaho and Danny (Lisa) Henson of Pingree, Idaho, sister; Kimberly Egbert of Pocatello, grandsons; Andrew and Cameron Corpus of Pocatello, granddaughters; Mikaela Corpus and Emma Corpus of Pocatello, nieces; Jaime Henson of Tucson, AZ, Dylan Bartos of Maricopa, AZ, Jordyn Forbis and Cassidy Bartos of Pocatello, nephews; Ray Henson of Boise, Idaho, Jesse Camphouse and Gage Egbert both of Pocatello, and numerous aunts and uncles.

She is preceded in death by her father, Darrell Arnold.

Darla's family would like to thank Pocatello Care and Rehabilitation and Creekside Home Health and Hospice for their care and sympathy.

Funeral services for Darla will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 30, 2010, at Wilks Funeral Home, 211 W. Chubbuck Road. A viewing will be held from 1 to 1:45 p.m. on Saturday before the service at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Wilks Funeral Home, 211 W. Chubbuck Road, 238-8000.
