Darla Joan Giovanni

Darla Joan Giovanni, 48, of Pocatello, ID, passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2014 of natural causes. She was born in Pocatello, ID on December 3, 1965 and was adopted shortly after by Leon and Kathleen Reese. She married Mark R. Sorenson on August 13, 1983 and soon after graduated from Highland High school. She worked in housekeeping for most of her life and took great pride in what she did and what she was able to accomplish throughout her career. She had a love for writing poetry and scrapbooking and always had dogs that she loved to show off. Darla spent the last year living life to its fullest with her partner Heather. She never took things too seriously and enjoyed every moment she had on earth. Her kids and her dogs were the joy in her life and she would brag about them any chance she got. Darla is survived by her parents Leon and Kathleen; her partner, Heather; her 4 children, Brandon, Dallas, Denton, and Ciara; and her 2 dogs, Chance and Jazzy. Her fun loving spirit and life will be celebrated on Monday, November 17, 2014 from 6pm to 8pm at Colonial Funeral Home 2005 S. 4 th Ave. Pocatello, ID. 208-233-1500.
