Darla Irene Cunningham

Darla Irene Cunningham, 87, passed away on October 28, 2023. 

Darla was born on September 18, 1936 in Idaho Falls, Idaho. She later moved to Pocatello, Idaho where she raised their family. Darla attended Bonneville High School.

On September 23, 1954, she married Eldon Jay Cunningham. Darla was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the Tops weigh loss program.

Darla enjoyed embroidery and cross stitching, decorating cakes, camping, and spending time with her family.

Darla is survived by her daughter, Debra Mansfield of Pocatello, Idaho, son, Lonnie Cunningham of Sterling, Alaska, son, Jesse (Holly) Cunningham of Madison, Alabama, and daughter, Lana Taylor of Pocatello, Idaho; sister, Rhonda (Chris) Nelson of Idaho Falls, Idaho, sister, Christine (Gary) Simpson of Othello, Washington, sister, Violet Gardner of Lewisville, Idaho, brother, Merritti (Charlotte) Johnson of Othello, Washington, and brother, Randy (Charlene) Johnson of Lewisville, Idaho; 18 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, 4 sisters, husband, Eldon, sons, Brent and Scott, daughter-in-law, Julie Cunningham, sons-in-law, Skip Mansfield and Kyle Taylor, and granddaughters, Andrea McLaren and Katelyn Taylor.

A viewing will be held on Friday, November 3, 2023 at 1 pm at Colonial Chapel, 2005 S. 4th Ave. Pocatello, Idaho with graveside services following at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, 2864 S. 5th Ave. Pocatello, Idaho, starting at 2 pm.
