Daniel Allen Leonard

November 29, 1935 — June 7, 2014

Daniel Allen Leonard, 80, passed away at his home Saturday, June 7, 2014. He was born and raised in Dos Palos, California. After graduating from Dos Palos High School, he pursued a career in accounting. He became a Certified Public Accountant after graduating from Fresno State in 1976. He was a member of the American Institute of Public Accountants since 1977 and was a member of the Idaho Society of Public Accountants since 1976.

Dan enjoyed fly fishing, traveling, developing new and innovative ideas, cooking, golf and visiting old friends during tax season. "Thank you" to all who welcomed him into their lives and community for the past 40 years. "Thank you" to all of his faithful clients who have loved and supported him over the years. You were so much more than clients, you were friends! Each of you brought so much to his life.

He was preceded in death by: his wife, Daniece Leonard, and daughter, Caprice Laura Leonard.
He is survived by: a daughter, Stephanie (Robert) Holt, of Tennessee, grandchildren;, Catrina and C.J, also of Tennessee, Megan Cranford, Whitney Gunter, Brandi Furr of North Carolina, Toni and Trey Orum of Pocatello, a sister, 8 great-grandchildren of North Carolina, and a sister, Mary Lou Leonard of California.

A Memorial Gathering will be held from 6-8 p.m., Monday, June 16, 2014 at Wilks Funeral Home, 211 W. Chubbuck Rd., Chubbuck, Id.
