Dan Gallegos

Dan Gallegos Jr.(Taco),70,of Pocatello,Idaho passed away peacefully at home on August 18, 2018 after a long, courageous battle with cancer.

Dan was born in Nyssa,Oregon on July 19, 1948. He graduated from Pocatello High School in 1968.

Dan worked as a Professional Truck Driver for Harry Owen Trucking for over 20 years of his career. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, running away to the casino, and spending time with his children and grand-children.

Dan is survived by his son Jason (Tammy) Gallegos of Pocatello, Id; Daughter Monique Gallegos of Pocatello, Id; Rebecca Parker of New Haven, Ky; Brother Richard (Carrie) Lucero of Bakersfield, Ca; Brother Rod (sue) Gallegos of Boise, Id; Paul (lynn) Lucero of Pocatello, Id; Sister Mitzi(Joe) Reed of Pocatello, Id; Brother Randy Gallegos of Boise, Id. 7 grandchildren: Daniel Parker, Tyler Moore, KaDee Pratt of Pocatello, Id; Skyler Dicken, Preston Gallegos, Logan Bailey from Kentucky and Sydnee Anderson from Utah.

Dan is preceded in death by his father Dan Gallegos Sr, his mother Annie Gallegos, brother Rick Gallegos.

In lieu of flowers Dan requested for memorial donations to be given to Cancer Patient Assistance Fund through the Cancer Center in Pocatello.

The funeral services will be held at Wilks Funeral Home on Friday August 24, 2018 services starting at 3 p.m. Visitation will be held at 2 p.m. at Wilks Funeral Home. John Rivas will be officiating. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Wilks Funeral Home.
