Damian Alexander Jacobson

Damian Alexander Jacobson, 34, passed away on September 7, 2023.

Damian was born in Pocatello, Idaho on September 13, 1988. He grew up in Aberdeen, Idaho and graduated from Aberdeen High School. He joined the Army National Guard, and was an active member from 2009-2014. He was deployed to Iraq from 2010-2011. Afterward, he lived in Pocatello, Idaho and attended Idaho State University briefly. He married Kami West on September 7, 2012.

Damian enjoyed many hobbies, including video games, Warhammer 40K, reading, shooting guns with friends, and watching movies.

Damian is survived by his wife, Kami Jacobson of Pocatello, ID; father, Erik Jacobson of Idaho Falls, ID; stepmother, CJ Jacobson of Idaho Falls, ID; step-father, Blaine Winberg of Aberdeen, ID; brothers, Jeff Winberg of Honolulu, HI; Adrian Jacobson of Eugene, OR; sisters, Brandi Jacobson of Idaho Falls, ID; Amber Jacobson of Idaho Falls, ID; Hailey Jacobson of Idaho Falls, ID; and grandmother, Grace Jacobson of Pocatello, ID.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Shawna Winberg and his grandparents, George and Martha Kopp and Jon Jacobson.

A Celebration of Damian's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 15, 2023 at Wilks Funeral Home, 211 W Chubbuck Rd, Chubbuck, ID. Interment with military honors will follow the service at the Falls View Cemetery in American Falls.
