Jeric Eugene and Dallas LeAnn Christiansen, made their way to Heaven on September 3, 2014.
Jeric, age 7, was born December 10, 2006 in Pocatello, Idaho. He loved sports, especially basketball and baseball. He enjoyed playing video games, playing with his Lego blocks, shooting his Dad's .22 rifle, and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. His favorite colors were green and blue. He was in the 2nd Grade at Lewis & Clark Elementary School. He had many friends and loved all his teachers. He looked forward to days he could have a cold lunch from home; this meant he would have a special note from his Mom that he would share with his teachers. He did strongly dislike cheese.
Dallas, age 4, was born January 17, 2010 in Pocatello, Idaho. She loved dress-up, dancing, and singing. She enjoyed Barbie dolls, Monster High, drawing, meat and cheese (sandwiches), the movies Beauty and the Beast and Cinderella, and shooting a bow and arrows. Her favorite color would alternate between pink and purple. Dallas looked up to Jeric in every way. If there was something he wanted to do, it became something they both wanted to do. She, however, also had a very individualized personality. She went through a phase where she corrected people that her name really was Princess. Each day she went to school too, (although hers was a product of her imagination), she would list out the teacher and her fellow students by name and relate their activities daily. She and her Mom would sing their own "I Love You" song whenever they could. She disliked the color red.
Jeric and Dallas were inseparable and both had non-stop energy. You could find them playing together outside on the swing set, climbing rocks, golfing in the yard, riding mules, motorcycles and snowmobiles with their Dad, swimming, or riding their bikes. They also loved to watch movies together, sing or dance along with the music playing wherever they were, dressing up in their cowboy boots and hats, going to family activities, root beer and chocolate milk. They loved playing cars and trucks together, their favorite were their PowerWheels; his was a Ford Raptor, and she had the Barbie Jeep, it was difficult to keep them charged.
If they were together, Jeric and Dallas were likely holding hands. Their Mom and Dad take great comfort that Jeric went with Dallas to make sure she wasn't scared and had her hero at her side; and Mom is reminding Jeric to "smile big", just like she did everyday when she would drop him off at school and send him a note in his lunch box.
They are survived by their parents, Deric and Brittany Christiansen, Pocatello; brother, Justin Christiansen, Pocatello; grandparents, Michelle and Michael Skinner, Soda Springs; Sheila Denton, Pocatello; and Kathe Christiansen, also of Pocatello; their dogs, Diesel and Lady, and their numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
They were preceded in death by their grandfathers, Justin Christiansen and Brent Denton, and Delilah, their beloved Rottweiler.
