POCATELLO- Dale M. Turner, 83, passed away on Thursday morning at a local health care center. Dale was born to Joseph Moroni and Tula (Clark) Turner on August 28, 1927 in Blackfoot, Idaho. He graduated from Blackfoot High School, and attended BYU for one year. Dale never married, but enjoyed his sibling and their wonderful children. He was employed at the Troy Parisian Laundry as a technician. As an active member of the LDS Church he took part in the LDS Branch at St. Anthony's Place. He was a avid reader, and enjoyed crossword puzzles and surprised everyone with his knowledge while playing the game of Trivial Pursuit. He is survived only one of his sisters, Donna Butcher of Pocatello and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, J.M. and Tula Turner; sisters and their spouses, Flora (Otis) Byrd, Lucy (Ivan) Jacobs, Lola (Owen) Marshall; brothers and their spouses, Orin(Cleo) Turner, Clark (Loraine) Turner and Stuart (Elna) Turner. Memorial Graveside for Dale will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at 3:00 P.M. at the Grove City Cemetery located at 157 N. Broadway, Blackfoot, Idaho.
