Dale S. Morgan

Dale Spencer Morgan, 73, of Pocatello, Idaho, passed away on January 21, 2018 in Pocatello, Idaho surrounded by his family. Dale was born in Rupert, Idaho to Arlo and Mildred Morgan on October 28, 1944. He graduated from Minico High School. He married Jolene Henderson on May 23, 1963. They had two daughters, Michelle and Monica. They later divorced. He later married Nathalee Young-Lutes on April 08, 1975, and adopted Nathas sons, Howard and Clark. He worked at FMC in the Engineering Department. He was a decorated Veteran of the Vietnam War. He served in the Army as a paratrooper and was awarded two Purple Hearts, a Bronze Star, and the Army Commendation Medal. He was involved in the Bengal Foundation for Idaho State University, and a member of the American Legion. Dale enjoyed fishing, making flies, teaching the boys to shoot guns, coaching the boys baseball teams, and winning big at playing slots. They loved to go camping and traveling to see their kids and grandkids. He was an exceptional handyman. Dale had a number of friends, some of which he met at his favorite watering hole, The Hoffbra. Dale had a very special relationship with DoraDean Young, Nathas mother. Dale is preceded in death by his parents; and his beloved grandsons, Mark and Tylor Morgan. Dale is survived by his wife, Nathalee; children, Michelle Morgan-Wilson McCurdy (Rod), Howard Morgan (Emee), Monica Morgan-Wilson White (Rick), Clark Morgan (Jeanine), Reece Morgan; brother, Edris Duggan (Michael); sister; 10 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren. The family of Dale wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the staff at the Idaho State Veterans Home and Portneuf Medical Center for their outstanding care and compassion. Memorial Services, with Military Honors, will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 11 am at the Central Christian Church, 918 East Center St., Pocatello, ID 83201, with Pastor Roger Bray officiating.
