Connie Yarger

Connie Farnes Yarger passed peacefully on October 9, 2023, in Pocatello, Idaho.

Connie was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on January 29, 1958, the second child of Eldon and Ila June Farnes.

She graduated from Pocatello High School with the class of 1976. While in high school she was a part of the Poky drill team and Poky High choir.

On June 17, 1976, she married Shane Yarger. To this union were born three beautiful children, Cara, Jason, and Lisa. Shane and Connie were sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple, in the fall of 1977.

Connie was a collector of things and enjoyed getting nachos at Mama Inez.

Connie was preceded in death by her husband, Shane Yarger, her son Jason Yarger, a grandson Joshua Winters, and her father Eldon Farnes.

She is survived by two daughters Cara (Donathan) Hall, Live Oak Texas; Lisa Yarger, Hyrum, Utah; grandchildren Zachariah Winters, Rigby, Idaho; Alexander Winters, Fairbanks, Alaska; Cheyenne Burbank, Ogden, Utah; Grace (Ash) Winters, Live Oak Texas; Sierra Burbank, Hyrum, Utah; Natalie Burbank, Hyrum, Utah; her Mother Ila Johnson Farnes, Pocatello, Idaho; siblings, Scott Farnes, Pocatello, Idaho; John Farnes, Oregon City, Oregon; Karma Johnson, Omaha. Nebraska; James (Jennifer) Farnes, Gillette, Wyoming; and Mary Heather Farnes, Pocatello, Idaho.

A visitation and memorial service will be held on Friday, October 13, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Wilks Colonial Chapel located at 2005 South 4th Avenue, Pocatello, Idaho, 83201.
