Connie (Gunter) Olson passed away at Caring Hearts Assisted Living on November 13, 2015. She was born in Cornish, Utah on April 7, 1927 to Lora and Rufus Gunter. The family subsequently moved to Arimo, Idaho where Connie lived until she married Curtis Olson. As Connie grew to adulthood she loved to attend dances and remembered them as highpoints of her youth.
Connie and Curtis were the parents of three children, Nolan (Joanne) Olson, LaRae (Larry) Ames, and Anna (Tony) Ballestero. At the time of her passing Connie had 10 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
After marrying, Connie lived in McCammon for a short period of time until the family moved to Pocatello and bought a home she lived in until she moved to assisted living. She loved that home dearly and always kept an immaculate household. She also loved her yard and flowers which she tended with great care and for which she received several awards.
Connie was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Connie's husband Curtis preceded her in death. Along with Connie the Gunter family consisted of - Helen (deceased), Erma (deceased), Arlo (deceased), Dean (deceased), Earl (deceased), Joyce, Robert, and Marvin. Connie always loved to get together with her brothers and sisters and was very devoted to them.
