Colton Rose

Colton James Rose (Gomez), 33, passed away on January 11, 2025.  He was born on July 13, 1991. After graduating high school, he joined the Navy and graduated from Naval Nuclear Power School. Colton served on the USS Alexandria as a Electronics Technician 1st Class. After his discharge from the Navy, Colton moved to Pocatello, ID began work at the INL as a nuclear operator and later became an ATR Operations Instructor.

In 2017, Colton met the love of his life, Jessica Rose. They had one child together, Harper Gomez-Rose. With their marriage on April 23,2021, Colton also gained 2 bonus children, Jaxon Hendrix, and Amaira Howell.

Colton succumbed to illness on January 11, 2025 after battling pancreatitis. He is preceded in death by his dad, Delbert Gomez; Grandma Mildred Bliss; father-in-law, Blair Waters; Johnny Cotton, and Calvin Willard. He is survived by wife, Jessica Rose; daughter, Harper Gomez-Rose; step-daughter, Amaira Howell; step son, Jaxon Hendrix; mother, Donna Gomez; grandmother, Myrna Cotton; mother, Michelle Jones, mother-in-law, Linda Waters; sisters, Bobbie Alvarado and Ashley Rose; brother, Brandon Follis, step brother, Chris Alvarado; AJ Merrick (Katie), uncles, Matt Willard (Gloria), Mike Willard (Talina), Pat Cotton (Jennifer); and many others who loved him very much.

The family would like to acknowledge the exemplary efforts of the EIRMC ICU. Thank you for giving us a little more time. You'll never know how much that extra day with him meant.
