Colleen A. Phillips

April 22, 1934 — June 24, 2011

Our beloved Coco, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, left us too early on June 24, 2011.

Colleen was born on April 22, 1934 in Driggs, Idaho to Reed and Annie Alldredge. She attended school in Pocatello, where she met her loving fiery red-headed husband, “Red” Phillips on May 29, 1953.

Colleen was an amazing mother to five children, grandmother to 11, great-grandma to 15, and great-great-grandma to one. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her favorite activities included participating in two pinochle clubs, solitaire, the ringing of the slot machines, road trips with friends, and family gatherings.

Colleen was always there for her grandchildren, whether it was picking them up from school to take them to the “well house” when they were sick; or forgiving them when they lost her cat. She was the most unique character the Lord has brought to the Earth and we all feel more than blessed to have been touched by her presence.

Colleen is survived by her loving husband, “Red” Phillips, two daughters and two sons, Becky Hendricks, Pocatello; Kelly (John) Rankin, Pocatello; Sam (Joyce) Phillips, Blackfoot; Dan (Karen) Phillips, Blackfoot; 11 grandchildren, Jessica, Jay, Mike, Jamie, Megan, Jen, Jake, Wesly, Erryn, Wade, and Danielle; three brothers, four sisters-in-law, and one brother-in-law, Wendell (Marilyn) Alldredge; Ruth Alldredge; Heber (Carol) Alldredge; Larry (Carol) Alldredge and Bryce Stocks. She was preceded in death by her parents, Reed and Annie Alldredge; a son, Michael Phillips; grandson, Neil Phillips; brother, George Alldredge; and sister, Nina Stocks.
