Clarice Armstrong

Clarice Armstrong, 82 passed away peacefully November 8, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family.

Clarice was born September 16, 1935 in Preston, Idaho, the oldest of five children born to Arnold and Genevieve Lila (Hope) Kendall. She grew up and attended schools in Aberdeen, Idaho.

Clarice married Ross John Mitchell on August 30, 1952 in Aberdeen, Idaho.

Clarice enjoyed gardening, playing cards with friends, and spending time with family. She loved taking care of her younger siblings.
If you were lucky enough to know Clarice, you were truly touched by an angel. We love you Mom and Grandma! A bushel and a peck like coke, candy and ice cream. To the moon and back!

Clarice is survived by her children, Steve (JoLynn) Mitchell of Pocatello; Clay (Colleen) Mitchell of Moss Bluff, Louisiana; Wendy (Dee) Jorgensen of Chubbuck; Shane (Michelle) Mitchell of Chubbuck; siblings, Larry (Cora) Kendall; Doyle Kendall; Rayleen (Bob) Tanner; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Clarice was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ross Mitchell; and younger sister and two grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, November 13, 2017 at the Aberdeen Cemetery. A viewing for family and friends will be held from 5-7:00 PM, Sunday, November 12th at Wilks Funeral Home, 211 W. Chubbuck Road.
