Cindy Lou Lovell

May 31, 1957 — December 10, 2010

On December 10, 2010, our beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend passed away in the arms of her loving daughters to return to her Father in Heaven, Savior, family members, and beloved husband Robert E. Lovell.

She was born on May 31, 1957, to Kay and Zola Olsen. Cindy was born into a family of ten children. Her formative years were spent growing up and attending schools in Iona, ID. She graduated from Bonneville High School in 1975.
Shortly after graduation, on June 13, 1975, she married Robert E Lovell in the Idaho Falls Temple for time and all eternity.

Cindy later graduated from Idaho State University and began her cherished career of teaching mathematics at Hawthorne Middle School. She was loved by her students and was known for making math fun and easy to understand.

Cindy and Bob welcomed two daughters and one son into their family. Their three children brought twelve beautiful grandchildren into their lives. Cindy's grandchildren were her ultimate joy. She was involved in the finest details of their lives as she shared a piece of her heart with each one of them. They have been blessed to have known her love. They greatly miss their Grandma.

Cindy's testimony of the Savior grew deeper over the past several years as she fought bravely for life. We are forever grateful for the lessons we learned from our dear mother and grandmother. Her loving, kind and generous spirit will stay with us forever. Oh, how we miss her.

Cindy was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Lovell, and her beloved Grandma Nina Olsen. She is survived by her loving daughters: Cami Ellis (Josh) Pocatello; Angela Cole (Brett) Salem; and her son, Kory Lovell, Salt Lake City; her parents Kay and Zola Olsen, Iona; six sisters: Nina Haroldsen, Kaylene Roe, Velora Olsen, ZoAnna Billman, Korene Harris, Jinny Peterson; three brothers: Garth Olsen, Craig Olsen, Chris Olsen, and many beloved friends and extended family.
