Christine Dawn Willard Buckman, 50, of Fort Hall, Idaho passed away Thursday, June 10, 2021, at Portneuf Medical Center surrounded by family. She was born on August 27, 1970, in Pocatello, Idaho to Myrna Kutch and Calvin Willard. She grew up and lived in Fort Hall and attended Highland High School.
On December 25, 1988, she married Denver Lee Buckman in Fort Hall, ID.
Christine wasn’t afraid to get her hands dirty and was a very hardworking mother. She worked at Wada Farms, TP Gas, and numerous fast-food places, as well as being a waitress at the Shoshone Bannock Casino Hotel. Her hobby was keeping her yard clean.
Christine is survived by her mom, Myrna Kutch; her children, Robert Buckman, Champane Buckman, and Jaecie Buckman all of Fort Hall, ID; her brothers, Micheal (Taleena) Willard, Matthew (Gloria) Willard, and Patrick (Jennifer) Cotton; her grandkids, LaShayla Wallowingbull, Damari Buckman, Robert Jr. Buckman, Lamar Buckman, and Lavonte Dugger; her significant other, Wade Galloway; and her in-laws, Roberta Favel of Rocky Boy, MT, Charlie Buckman of MT, and Angie Buckman of MT.
She was preceded in death by her father, Calvin Willard; dad, Johnny Cotton; husband, Denver Buckman, JoAnn Favel; brother, Delbert Gomez; maternal grandparents, Sam and Edna Kutch; paternal grandparents, Willard and Carmen French; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Christine will be at Myrna's Residence, 126 W. Agency Rd., on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at about 4 pm. Church services will be on Monday, June 14, 2021 at 6 pm. There will be sunrise services on Tuesday, June 15, 2021. A traditional burial service will follow about 1 pm at Parker/Kutch Cemetery.
