POCATELLO - Cheryl Winters, 47, of Pocatello, passed away at her home April 1, 2011, of natural causes. She was born July 30, 1963 in St. Anthony, Idaho, the oldest of five children of Ronald and Judy Winters. In her youth she enjoyed, and was very talented in, cross-stitch, painting, crocheting, and framing, and continued these hobbies throughout her life. She started practicing piano in her youth and continued playing at Primary functions. She had a love for music and playing the piano. After high school she entered the work place and later attended ISU and graduated as a Medical Transcriptionist. While attending school she worked with her parents at Pocatello KOA. She was currently a receptionist at Psychological Assessment in Pocatello. She really enjoyed office work in the medical field. Cheryl was a very loving compassionate person. She never had a bad word to say about anything or anyone. She was loved by everyone that knew her. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Cheryl is survived by her parents Ron and Judy Winters of Chubbuck; sisters Christine Harris of Rigby; Cathy Rainey of Pocatello; Charity (Jim) Davis of Pocatello; and Jennie Winters of Pocatello. She was very involved with her 12 nieces and nephews and loved them very much. They are Josh Cleverley, Angela Cleverley, Alisha Cleverley, Kellie Rainey, Kari Rainey, Taylor Rainey, Trista Rainey, Jenika Davis, McKenna Davis, Ayden Davis, Jaycee Hix, and Andrew Hix. She is preceded in death by her grandparents. A memorial gathering will be held from 2 p.m.to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 9, 2011, at Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. 4 th Ave.
