Cherry Lynn Black Elliott, 62, passed away on July 18, 2017 in Pocatello, Idaho, peacefully surrounded by people who cared deeply for her. She was born on December 19, 1954 daughter of Gary Allan Black and Juanita Julia Velasquez Schaefer. Cherry grew up in Georgetown, Idaho and attended Bear Lake High School. To all that knew Cherry, she was a bold, friendly, open and a very kind hearted soul. She enjoyed reading, movies, spending time with friends and family, and was very passionate about her San Francisco 49ers! Cherry was a devoted mother to her three children, Sonja Dursteler, Tonja Hodgkinson, and Sky Wiebelhaus. She adored her grandchildren, Alexa Goff, Zachary Goff, Tyler Goff, Sydnee Christiansen, Jaydon Dursteler, Destiny Dursteler, Kayla Hodgkinson, Mya Hodgkinson, James Hodgkinson, Damin Wiebelhaus, Dreyken Wiebelhaus, Rainey Wiebelhaus, and Dante Wiebelhaus. Cherry loved and was loved by many siblings, nieces, and nephews as well as many dear friends. A memorial barbeque will be held for friends and family at OK Ward Park, 1400 W. Quinn Rd. & Northern Lights Drive, Pocatello, Idaho 83202 at the East Pavilion at 1:30 pm on Sunday, July 23, 2017.
