Charles Flory

Charles Flory, 36, passed away, February 21, 2022.

Charles Earth Flory was born August 15, 1985 to Lynda Gaynell Landrum Flory and Roger Dale Flory in Salem, Oregon.

Charlie was born a special angel of God. Despite his physical and mental limitation, Charlie lived life to the fullest and brought sunshine wherever he went. All those who knew Charlie knew his love for “Toy Story”, “Beauty and the Beast”, his rocking chair, and chocolate pudding. He loved reading Dr. Suess, going on car rides, and his all-time favorite thing was spending time with his niece Arielle, who he fondly called “AR”. Family was so important to him, he loved being with his sister, Kristi and niece and nephew, Mariah and Zachary.

Charlie’s family would like to send a special thanks to the staff at WDB, Shawn, Alma, Devian, Dika, and Tammy, for your loving of our Bubby and taking special care of him. We will be forever grateful for you! Extended thanks to Ashlee Neeser, Allison Bowers, and Sally Hickman for helping Charlie live his best life and providing so many wonderful memories. Thank you to Heritage Home Health and Hospice, Bayleigh, you are amazing! Portneuf Medical Center Pediatric ICU, for many nights of “Toy Story” and wheelchair rides around the halls.

Charlie is survived by sister, Kristi Taylor of Chubbuck; nieces, Arielle Guyette, and Mariah (Jordan) Schuder of Pocatello; nephew, Zachary Guyette of Pocatello; a great niece, two sisters, and several other nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lynda and Roger; brothers, Gary and Steven; and his grandparents.

 A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. Burial information will be provided on an individual basis.
