Cassie Ann Scalici

Cassie Ann Scalici, 38, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 13, 2018, at her home in Pocatello, Idaho.

Cassie was born May 24, 1980, in California, to Dawn Sailer and Christopher Scalici. She was a 1998 graduate of Pocatello High School. She was a Chaplain for Daughters of the Nile (Shriners/Masons), where she was also a part of the Clown Jewels. Painting children's faces and raising money for worthy causes was something she was very proud of, she loved to dress up as "Skittles" the clown.

Cassie had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way; she made everyone around her always feel like they mattered. She always said her most favorite thing about life was being an Aunt. Cassie was taken from us too early and will be missed by many.

Cassie is survived by her parents; Father, Christopher (Step-Mother Marsha) Scalici, Mother Dawn Sailer (Step-Father James "Matt" Lanham); her sister, Robertta (Nicholas) Matulis; brothers; Matthew (Kristin) Lanham and Steven (Jessica) Lanham; step siblings: Brandy Meadows, Danny Meadows, Nikki Lanham and Miranda Land; her nieces; Kylie, Katie and Khloe Matulis, Charlotte Lanham and Shyanne Adkins; her nephews; Christopher and Phillip Adkins and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services for Cassie will be held June 8, 2019 at Mount McCaleb Cemetery in Mackay, Idaho at 1:00 pm. A reception to reminisce, grieve and celebrate Cassie's life will be held at the Mackay American Legion following the services at 2:00 pm. A Celebration of her Life was held at 3:30 p.m., Saturday, January 5, 2019 at the First Baptist Church, 408 N. Arthur Ave., Pocatello, ID. Cremation services were cared for by Wilks Funeral Home of Chubbuck, Idaho.
