POCATELLO - Cary L. Smith, 26, of Pocatello, passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2012. He was born on August 27, 1985, in Pocatello, to Cary D. and Pamela Smith. He was raised in Pocatello, and attended school at Lewis and Clark Elementary, Lincoln Elementary, Irving Middle School, and Pocatello High School where he graduated form in 2003. Cary worked with his dad and brother Casey covering all phases of building construction. He also worked at Pro Clean car wash. Cary was a good worker and was good with his hands. He loved big rigs, 4 wheel-drives and working on go-carts. Cary loved life and he especially loved being with his daughters Isabella and Alayah. He is survived by his parents Pamela and Cary Smith; brothers Casey and Cody; daughters Isabella and Alayah; girlfriend Linda Hernandez; grandfather Charles (Betty) Smith of Henderson, NV; grandmother Nadine Eschavarria of Pocatello; grandmother Valerie J. Doser of Pocatello; and lots of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends that loved and cared for him. He is preceded in death by his grandfather Charles Phillips. The Smith family wants to thank the Valladolid family for all their extra care and concern and love for Cary. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 9, 2012, at Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. 4 th Ave. A visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, February 8, 2012, and also one hour prior to the funeral services at the funeral home. Burial will follow services at Mountain View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations are appreciated to the Cary Smith Memorial Fund at Wells Fargo.
