Carolyn was born and raised in Pocatello, Idaho. She attended school at Lewis and Clark Elementary, Alameda Junior High, and Pocatello High School. She was in the graduating class of 1969.
In 1972, Carolyn married Leo Van Sickle. Together they had two sons, Jeffery and Bradley. In this marriage, Carolyn gained two step-children, Connie and Kenneth, whom she truly loved. Carolyn and Leo later divorced. Carolyn was a hard working single mom and worked many, different jobs providing well for her two boys. In 1982 she married Marvin Mumme. Together they had 2 sons, Jeremy and Brian, and in this marriage, she gained a step-daughter, Terry.
Carolyn was a hard worker. She kept an immaculate home. She loved to talk, share memories and stories, and had a memory like no other. She could remember things from a young age that others could not. She was blessed with the gift of gab! Carolyn enjoyed many things, but at the top of her list was ELVIS! She had every one of his movies and CD’s. She could sing every song word for word and when asked her favorite Elvis song, she would say, “All of them.” She attended one of his concerts and could shimmy and shake, just like him!
Carolyn loved her family and nothing was more special to her than her 4 boys and her grandchildren.
