Carol Mcconnell

Carol McConnell passed away April 7, 2016. Carol was born in Wisconsin on July 10, 1939 and raised in the suburbs of Chicago. After graduating high school she worked at the fathers business until she had her first son Daniel. From that time on, she dedicated her life to her boys, Johnny and Danny.

Carol later moved to Pocatello Idaho and made many great fiends in the area in her later years. Family was always Carol's first priority. She also loved gardening and having her pets around. She was a great cook and took every opportunity to feed those around her. Carol was very wise and often could be found sharing her wisdom with her friends and family. She was a true fighter and never complained as her health deteriorated and had health complications. She was a member of the Lutheran faith and had a very strong belief.

Carol is survived by her two sons; John Lorenz of Pocatello, Idaho and Daniel Lorenz of Newport Beach, California. She was preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Hilda Blocker.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, April 15, 2016 at Wilks Funeral Home, 211 W. Chubbuck Road. Condolences and memories may be shared with the family under the "Share a Memory" tab on this page.
